Saturdays and Sundays are a different game. The kids want to go to the park, the trail, the lake, or just mess around in the backyard. This is the carry that covers all of it.

Upgraded From Weekday

The Bugout stays — it always stays. But weekends call for more tools. The Leatherman Skeletool fills the gap when I need pliers, a screwdriver, or a bottle opener (priorities). It's light enough that it doesn't feel like overkill.

Light and Hydration

The Olight Baton 3 Pro is stupid bright for its size. Early morning dog walks, checking under the deck for whatever the kids lost, or lighting up the campsite — it handles all of it. Magnetic tail cap means it sticks to the grill, the car hood, wherever.

The Yeti Rambler keeps ice for a full day. I fill it before we leave and it's still cold when we get home. Worth every penny.

The Bag

Everything rides in the Herschel Heritage. It's not a tactical bag, it's not a diaper bag, it's just a solid backpack that holds snacks, a change of clothes for the little one, sunscreen, and all the gear listed above. The mini first aid kit lives in the front pocket permanently — band-aids, antiseptic wipes, and children's Tylenol. Dad stuff.
